Hey hey!
I'm an avid adventurer and student from New York state. I grew up in Ithaca and now am a student at Cornell University where I study global health. I work as an outdoor education instructor and as a tutor/counselor for high school students. This past spring, I spent 5 months in the jungles of southern India researching maternal and child health practices and nutrition within the Adivasi population. Happy to be back on the road this upcoming semester backpacking in Europe!

Couchsurfing to me seems like a more authentic way to get a travel experience because, you not only get to have firsthand access to advice from someone who knows the area, but you also get the opportunity to make a new friend or two! It serves to connect interesting people within the traveling community, plus makes traveling both more feasible and rewarding.

I just ran my first marathon in Philadelphia this past November!

So down to teach, learn, and share! I'm super open-minded and have a passion for learning new things. I also work in education too, so naturally I like to teach as well. It'd be cool to practice a new language, learn about different hobbies in art and music and beyond, or learn some new recipes in the kitchen.

I can share many adventure stories and lots of laughs. Any advice on traveling in the places I've visited. I can cook and bake pretty well for the most part. Also a really big fitness enthusiast that loves running, working out, yoga, etc. I can always help with workouts and nutrition plans because of my life experience and course backgrounds at university.
