Overview
About Me
I am a retired social worker from Oakland in California’s Bay Area. I’ve lived cooperatively most of my adult life, so I am good at working with and around the needs of others. I love the idea of couch surfing!
I am planning a trip to Europe in the spring and early summer of 2020 to experience some old stuff--from megalithic and neolithic standing stones and structures to Renaissance art and architecture.
I am an environmentalist and am active in racial justice work. I love being in nature, and I am an avid hiker and backpacker.
I’m also a life-long bridge player. And I am passionate about both cooking and eating yummy food!
My first language is English; I am and also quite fluent in Spanish. My French is rusty, and I’m hoping to polish it up during my travels!
