Adventous with a sense of wonder, hugely curious about other people, culture always open to learning love cooking, joking, outdoor activities, down-to-earth besides being friendly, great sense of humour a wonderful capacity to enjoy life.
I am reliable, helpful and very considerate.
Grew up barefoot mostly in Africa as tomboy with lots of brothers and my mother instilled strong family values in me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very positive experience with my first CS and looking forward to getting more involved. TIP for CS is to ALWAYS show your appreciation by offering to do something for the host. If it means offering to help out with chores or go out and buy some groceries, perhaps a small gift of appreciation goes a long way or gas money whatever but make the effort! ... A complete stranger gets to stay for free in the home of someone they have never met - HOW AWESOME IS THAT! So step up and show your gratitude even if you are on a tight budget!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most scary and amazing thing I did was to completely trust my (professional hunter boyfriend at that time) to camp without a tent for one night (he was obviously testing me) in the African Bushveldt (private game reserve) all we had was the clothes we were wearing. We gathered a few big logs to lie up against and made a fire to keep away any predators. Our company that night was the crackling fire, the sounds of the occassional lion roaring or hyena cackling. Ahh, my Atlantic crossing was a once in a life time adventure with hundreds of dolphins surrounding our sailboat near the Equator and visiting the two scarcely known islands of St.Helena (Napoleon exciled place) and Ascention where we were fortunate to witness a female Sea turtle lay her eggs at midnight on the beaches of the Atlantic. My earlier years as a Realtor living near one of the biggest Wildlife Reservation was wonderfully spent viewing game at waterholes and enjoying a barbeque (braaivleis) under the pitch black African sky; a million stars twinkiling unhindered by any manmade devices, towns or cities.
