HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Offering couch for one, two, three persons in my apartment in Uppsala. Always interesting to get to know new people, from all parts of the world. Couch surfing is about cultural and social exchange on an individual basis. Couch surfing is about offering someone to stay in your home, welcoming to your home town. Couch surfing is about confidence, trust and respect. But it's not about running a hotel, there is no room service available.

I have a house in the countryside in the western part of Sweden too, can easily host two, three, four guests there. My male partner, well in fact husband since 2017, lives there.

I am a gay guy and I host preferably male couch surfers. I am also a naturist, which means I’m often nude at home. If you wanna know more about the values and corner stones of naturism you can get that. Following the relaxed clothescode is recommended and appreciated, but I'm not forcing anyone to do it. But it’s worth a try! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not been using the couching possibilities myself, but have had several nice and interesting guests from a variety of countries visting. With most of them I've had the opportunity to exchange experiences and thoughts, preferably over a dinner or evening coffee. I've had many more guests than what's shown, but some of them have deleted their Couch surfing accounts and then they seem to disappear from the list of guests. Since a while I take a photo of my guests, you will find the collection in one of the photo albums.

Active in the local community, member of the City Assembly.

Hmm, sounds maybe a bit too serious. I also appreciate some TV-shows like Simpsons, The Big Bang Theory, Keeping up appearances and Downton Abbey.

The Sigiria Rock in Sri Lanka, Gullfoss waterfall in Iceland and the Maldive Islands are other examples of amazing experiences.

In Uppsala I can share a lot about the city that combines historical heritage with advanced biotechnology, medical research and constructing computer games (as some few examples), it's also an outstanding student life environment.

I can give you an introduction to naturism, its principles, history and how it’s spread today.
During late spring and summer, when the weather is favourable, I can show you the nearby naturist beach, only 20 km from where I live.
