I'm a writer and performer in my home town of Montreal and I try to travel in order to do live shows in other cities as often as I can. Like everybody else I'm just trying to figure out where I fit in and how I can get the most out of this life.

I'm participating by hosting people on my couch and making friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a performer touring on the Canadian Fringe Festival circuit, I've had many couch surfing experiences long before joining couchsurfing.org. In most of the Canadian cities that I've visited I've been set up with a billet with an extra bed or couch to offer. I've hosted traveling artists during the Montreal Fringe Festival as my way of paying it forward. So far I have yet to have a negative experience either as a host or a guest.

My former roommate Jackie has been a member of couchsurfing.org for a little while now and as such we have hosted a couple people at our apartment and it's been fun. Since then I've couch-surfed through the Maritimes with my boyfriend. I feel like spending time with locals is the best way to travel anywhere.

I'm a huge movie geek and love devouring films of all kinds. I can't possibly choose favourites, but I'm a fan of directors like the Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarantino, David Wain, P.T. Anderson, Wes Anderson, Alfred Hitchcock, Lukas Moodysson, etc, etc

Music and books are great too.
