I grew up in rural central Illinois. I spent a lot of time in the woods and horseback riding growing up. Also, I spent a lot of time playing sports like a typical Midwestern. I moved out to Colorado in 2010 for school and then spent almost five years living in Boulder. I interned with a minor league hockey team in Denver and ran a coffee shop in downtown Boulder. I also got super into rock climbing since I'we been in Colorado. This summer, I decided to up and move to Alaska from where I've just returned. Now I'll be spending the winter working at the coffee shop at Keystone Resort!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm moving to Keystone to work for the winter but my relocation budget was pretty tight so I haven't found a place to live just yet. I'm hoping to find some places to supplement the living out of my car that I'll be doing. Also, maybe meet some really cool people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Alaska on a whim by myself and spent a lot of time backcountry in Denali National Park. Camped at the foot of Mt. Denali. I will climb it someday.
