Hello, we are Leonie from Tübingen and Andreas from Vienna. We accidentally met in 2014 on a student party and found out that we both study Geography and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Vienna, later on we moved together. In 2017, we moved to Tromsø in Northern Norway and worked there and right now we are both studying for our Master degrees in the small picturesque student town Marburg in the center of Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Tourism has become a mass phenomenon, where millions of people stand in lines to see Eiffel Tower, the Sixtine Chapel or Oktoberfest. Maybe, they are nice to see, but we want to feel. Feel a city, feel its music, feel its food, feel its people. So, there is probably no better way in doing that than together with nice local people.

We love the North! Rough landscapes, nature and Icelandic elfs under the polar sky and awesome people.
