ABOUT ME

I'm 36, never married, no kids, on purpose.
I have 3 very small dogs who are my constant companions.

Sauza 3 lbs
They are chihuahuas, I know , most people have a very bad stereotype concerning these ladies but they are ladies. Sauza was born in the French Quarter of New Orleans and Cassanndra is the epitome of French Quarter Bar Dog. They are both very well socialized and beloved and just plain awesome.

As for me...I love the outdoors and any and all outdoor activities. I obviously love animals. I love to paint and draw. Mostly people. I have a talent for photography. I really love live music. I am a bit of a reader. I am into existentialism and meta-physics. I also love cartoons and strange/interesting movies. Alejandro Jordovsky is a recent favorite of mine. I also like a lot of Kenneth Anger's work. I enjoy cooking and preparing food. Whether I stay in your home or you in mine I will likely offer to prepare a meal for you. I feel cooking is one of the most basic forms of caring for and loving someone and gladly share this talent with others. I like fresh fruit and bring my juicer everywhere I go. My favorite juice right now is pineapple carrot tangerine ginger...maybe you would like a glass....oh I am also The Sangria Master, dare you challenge me?

I dunno, I think I am fun and interesting...some people seem to agree.

I love to hear other people strange and interesting tales/life stories/perspectives. It fills my life with joy and wonder.

I love to laugh and tell stupid jokes. I am sometimes baudy and inappropriate but, most people find it entertaining and not offensive.

I am someone that can fit into almost any social situation and get along or find common ground with most anyone. I am however most comfortable with laid back, academic, but not elitist types.

Do unto others as you would like done unto you.

I strive to be kind and rational, hopefully both..if not, one or the other will do.

I love people and want to make/help them be happy...it's only when I realize this can't be accomplished that issues arise...

I am brand new to CS and am very excited about it's mission.

I feel I can contribute a couch and a lot of fun as a host in New Orleans, LA. I also love food and know where all the good (and inexpensive, or high end if your wallet can handle it) food resides.

I also feel like I have a lot to offer those with whom I will stay. I am a warm and giving person who loves to cook. I also feel I represent my country and state well. I am educated, kind , and tolerant.

I feel I will represent very well the ideals proposed by CS both as a host and a surfer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon and understanding what it is to be small in front of such vast timelessness. Feeling dizzy at the size and perspective of it all. It was a wondrous moment. I have had so many...I love life and picking my moments is like picking my children...
