What's up world!!!

I wish I could record a video instead, but this'll do.

I'm bi-coastal: I was born in California, moved to Maryland at the age of 2, and moved back to California at the beginning of my freshman year of high school.

I'm Buddhist: I was actually destined to become a Buddhist monk, but that obviously never happened.

I'm Vietnamese-American: I am the son of Vietnam War refugees who fled to the U.S. when they were only teenagers; Vietnamese is my mother tongue.

I'm vegetarian: I've been a life-long vegetarian, and will remain vegetarian until the day I die. That being said, I definitely fall under the category of an unhealthy vegetarian who loves fats and carbs!

I'm a student: I study Peace & Conflict Studies and Anthropology at UC Berkeley in California... and yes, I'm quite progressive!

I'm a photographer: I love taking photos no matter where I am... I used to like taking photos of my friends, but then I realized how much easier it is to capture the beauty of non-moving objects and scenery, haha.

Things I love: wine, traveling, photography, movies, shows, cultural cuisine, beaches, moms (in the non-creepy way), partying, and meeting people

I love meeting people and immersing myself in local culture. Sure, I could stay at a hostel, but it's just not the same experience as befriending a local and seeing their world through genuine eyes.
