Olá, I´m André
I always have been passionate about traveling but I never had the option to, until I meet this concept!
I´m interest in meet different people, cultures, and so opinions as well, I believe that all points of view have a reason to be.
I like to help and be active, I do volunteering, participate in different clubs, projects, events and I love to try out distinct sports.
I'm a Scout, where we learn a wide range of knowledge, survival techniques, plan activities, leadership, and also self-knowledge by helping others
So I genuanly like to help people and listen what they have to share.

Profissionaly, my goal is to find solutions for complex environment-social-economic challenges
I studied Environmental Engineering and was in this degree that I had my first touch with traveling, by doing one semester abroud (Erasmus program)
I´m currently doing workaways, projects, volunteerings (ex: WWOOF) and developing some ideas. Next year I will start a masters degree in antrophology.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it´s one off the best ways to travel that I know..

People go on vacations to escape, move out of rotine, to live a little.
Travelers meanwhile live to move, because movement is part of life.
Why spend time on a escape, life is to short. Live it!

And, the best way to live our life is hand in hand with diversity.
For some reason, in a ecossistem, biodivesity is correlated with life quality
So travel to connect with people, to learn, experience different cultures and ways of thinking, is the best gift that we can receive.

My music tast is very diverse, since I like to play guitar and bass I always try to find new musics, I´m open minded to new styles but for sure I don´t like it all, and there´re also the ones that I just like to play ahah
Genre of music I listen: Traditional Folk, Pop, Dance/House/Techno, R&B, Latin, Rock, Country, Folk, Classic, Jazz, Blues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One week hiking of 40 km each day in the mountains, with heavy backpacks and without preparation (in dolomity). But I don´t regret it, was an amazing experience also to learn more about myself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am open to work and help with any possible household chores - Cleaning, Cooking, Washing Dishes, Laundry, play some songs if you have a guitar and I hope learn a piece of experience or culture, and perhaps share a piece of mine as well.
