Music, Movies, and Books
The music that I listen to is constantly changing, but here is what I'm into at the moment!
The Wild Reeds/ Lucius/ Snail Mail/ Sharon Van Etten/ Japanese Breakfast/ Maggie Rogers
My favorite book of all time is A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. I like books that make me feel deeply and change the way that I think.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18, I got a plane and flew to Utah where I spent four weeks living and backpacking through the canyons. It was incredibly liberating to be so far removed from society for an extended amount of time. I didn't use a tent and just slept under the wide and vibrant Utah sky. I had never seen so many stars before in my life! While the trip lasted only a short four weeks, the experience made a massive impact on me. I can't go a day without thinking about that adventure and the people I met along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning French and would love the opportunity to continue to strengthen my conversational skills! I am an artist and can share my knowledge of printmaking, I work in relief as well as with screen printing. I am also very interesting in art history and could talk for hours about Diego Velásquez, Caravaggio, or Artemisia Gentileschi.
