I am a 45 year old from Cleveland OH, who has traveled a lot in her youth across Europe. I married a Clevelander in 1999, which is how I landed in the United States. I raise my son mostly alone, he is 17 years old. I dedicate my life to him, but travel is my passion and we do this now together mostly for medical appointments or conferences.

I love travel and getting to know other people and cultures. That used to be my life before moving to Cleveland and having a child. Now that he is older, we are looking forward to meeting new people and seeing new places. My son has a lot of medical needs which makes it a bit difficult to make a ton of money while helping him, so couch surfing also seems like a truly altruistic way to host people and meet great folks.

Love classical music, Mozart, Chopin, but all the classics, really. I also often listen to books on tape, and read with my son, exposing him to all the books I grew up on. Currently we are reading Slam by Nick Hornby. I also read a lot of science and medical journals.

I visited Moscow once :-) and I have hitchhiked across Europe a few times in college.
