About Me
Hi,
I'm Andrea, 37 years old from Napoli (Italy)
Permaculture architect, I spent more than ten years researching, designing,
building and experimenting in bio-building around Italy and Australia. From 2017 I have been
integrating regenerative thinking and permaculture design methods and principles to envision
natural based homes, homesteads and farm facilities interconnected within lush, beautiful,
delicious perennial food forests and ecosystems.
I love outdoor adventure and living: hiking, travelling on bicycles, kayaking, snorkelling and all this sort of stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I try to be a traveller rather than a tourist: not going to the main attractions but trying to live as a local with locals.
And of course: smiles and chats!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to lots of varied music. Lately I'm really into chamber, symphonic and sacred music classic as well as contemporary. I'm always researching about folk music of the places I visit along withy birthplace one. I also love old jazz and some contemporary experimental stuff (while I find the average European intellectual jazz rather boring). But more than everything I love to discover new music and listen, while in company, to all those stuff I'll never put on myself.
I love to read. Quite a lot when not travelling. Too much stuff to mention
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When travelling in Fiji, instead of having just been lying on a white beach, I've been visiting and living in various villages. Doing a traditional kind of couchsurfing: I've been living and eating with families in many different villages. Do it! Just understand a what a "sevusevu" is, bring a good half kilo (even less for simple visits) of yangona and don't be scared, Fijian are the most welcoming people I've ever met!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to share my knowledge and my experience about permaculture life and design
Surely I can teach how to cook a pasta in an Italian authentic way.
Learn: meet people and learning trough sharing that's why we travel.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Apart from lots of chats:
A quick Permaculture design for your garden.
I love to cook. And you love Italian cuisine, uh?
Smiles. Isn't that what good life it's about ?
