ABOUT ME

After hearing, reading and therefore getting more and more curious about other countries, I started to dream about travelling the world to be able to tell my own stories. It is the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.
For me, it is the most wonderful thing to step out of your home and experience adventures you would not have had if you had stayed. However, returning from a journey to your family and friends, who are eager to hear everything about it, is just as amazing.
I am a quiet but open-minded person who loves to listen - especially to people who want to share their experiences and their individual way of life with me :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It was in LA when I lived in an apartment together with people from other countries for the first time and I noticed how much fun and how enriching for yourself it is to see how others live and think. So in Couchsurfing I see the opportunity to "repeat" that experience - the more people I have the chance to get to know, the more I will know about this beautiful world we live in :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my journey around the world I had the opportunity to meet couchsurfers from countless countries and from every stage of life. I experienced incredible hospitality and generosity that deeply touched me from time to time. This really made me realize that giving is so much more rewarding than receiving.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

First of all participating in a language course in Los Angeles, USA, to spark the fire of travelling in me...

... which resulted in a 8-month journey around the world with my boyfriend to 9 countries in 2016/2017! This was a prove for me that dreams really can come true. Sometimes you just have to say "yes" to opportunities and go with the flow - that's what I did, and I had experiences I will never forget my whole life. The route was Germany - Canada - USA - Australia - New Zealand - Indonesia - Singapore - Malaysia - Thailand - Cambodia - Germany, once around the globe :)

Just some highlights:
- celebrating the 4th of July in New York City, USA
- experiencing the heat of Death Valley National Park, USA, at 53° Celsius
- being hired for sitting in the audience of a TV Show in Los Angeles, USA
- entering a beach so beautiful that it left me speechless in Hawaii, USA
- having kangaroos in my backyard in Gold Coast, Australia
- seeing the Milky Way bright and clear at night from Moreton Island, Australia
- living in a car on a road trip through the South and North Island of New Zealand
- meeting the friendliest people ever in Bangkok, Thailand
- and so so many more!
