我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Never have I met people that are so friendly and welcoming to strangers. So much love and happiness.

Recently, I stayed in 'Crunchy town.' A community of around 30 other travellers from all around the world, which I found through couchsurfing. So much positive energy and good vibes. People are always up for anything. I was only meant to stay for 1 week... 3 months later, I left.
For 1 month at this place, I experienced living with no running water. Obvious things like dish washing, showering, flushing the toilet and laundry sounds like it should have been a struggle but although a lot of effort had to be considered to make it work, the creativity of people's minds was incredible. Everything worked out and I actually really enjoyed living like this for a while.

Everyones homes are different. The rules, the way of living etc.. I want to experience the diversity of this as much as possible. It is beautiful.

Chess, drinking tea, winter hiking or just hiking in general, camping on mountains, snowboarding, coffee, building things, travel journalism, cooking, road trips, spontaneous activites, all board games, vegemite, organising, un-tying knots, listening to acoustic guitar, around a camp fire with chilled red wine.

Hitchhiked 3,500km in 4 days through the Australian Outback

The Tongariro Crossing and Mt Doom finished in one day

Had one night in Cairns, won a dance competition - completely out of my comfort zone, ended up winning a free skydive, the next morning jumped out of a plane, then left cairns

I also performed CPR on my goldfish to bring it back to life. It died again a few days later tho :(
