About Me

Hey, It's hard to write about me, but overall you could say I'm a agreeable girl. I like people (wouldn't belong on that page if I didn't, I think :D ) and I like to meet new people and normaly people get along with me well - so I think you, who are reading this profil right now, should have no problems by spending time with me. I'm looking forward to it :D

I'm into Photography and Filmmaking and I also like to bake (especially muffins), to read, to swim, to hike and to boulder. Also I can get interested in nearly everything.

So I'm looking forward to meet you and get to know your passions! I may be not that kind of person, who is going to a party everyday, but I still like to go out and meet my friends or people in general. Maybe you could say that I'm not perfect at starting conversations, but I alwas like to talk to people - and when I started to talk to a nice person I might never stop again, so be aware... ;)

Some other things that may be of interest: I've got a cat - I love that cat more than anything and I don't have a problem with staying with hosts, who have animals - exept you are breeding bird spiders or something similar...

It's a shame, but I have seen far too little of this world and hope to change that soon. The greatest trip I've made by now was to Los Angeles and I'm just crazy about that city. Everywhere are people, crazy about movies, and a totally different style of life than I experience at home. I'm definitely going to visit L.A. again. Going on a tour through the United States in general is the next thing I want to do.

Other places I want to see in my life are Island and New Zealand (because of the Lord of the Rings movies) and what I'm definitly going to do is hiking to the base camp of Mound Everest in Nepal. I'm not suicidal so I don't want to climb that mountain, but I definitly want to see it! I also have an eye on doing the Appalachian Trail or parts of the American Discovery Trail sometime in the future (but at the moment I'm not at all experienced in long-distance hiking, so I still have to train for that).

Looking forward to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I can't see why people travel to other countries/city's just to stay in one hotel, that they never leave except for staring at some old buildings that someone told them they should've visited. I want to fully experience the place I'm staying at. Meeting people who actually live there seems a better approach than joining a sightseeing tour organized for tourists.

I also hate the term "tourist".
