About Me

I am a fun loving girl who loves to create art, travel and dance. In my own art I create paintings of people and abstract work in bright colors as well as create props and costumes for a local theater company. I like to plan elaborate theme parties for Halloween and New Years and custom pinatas. I like to act, do improv and stand up comedy. I run several art classes for kids in my town to share my love of art and give back to the community. I enjoy exploring museums, open studios and flea markets. I enjoy going to live concerts or DJs I can dance to. I have a close group of friends that I can have a pint with, play darts or pool and laugh all night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two years ago I met my friend Vanessa who was mid road trip and we traveled from New Orleans to Colorado and Utah, South Cali all the way up the coast to Portland, Seattle, back to CO then through Missouri to visit my family then home by way of Buffalo, NY. We did a lot of couch surfing and staying with friends and only got 1 hotel room! We met so many cool people and saw the country in a way you only can by meeting regular folks. My one regret is doing all our couch surfing bookings through her account!

Interests

This summer I camped and hiked in Acadia National Park with my family for a week. I love being in nature and trekking up a mountain, taking in all the beauty around me. On the road trip I took I loved watching the landscape change as we went from plains to Rocky Mountains.
I have what you would call a healthy appetite- I love eating in diners, fried chicken, mexican food. Try to stay away from fast food. I make a mean omelette.
I love poking around in antique stores and flea markets at all the old stuff and wonder where it came from or how I can rehab it. I might buy a record or a necklace- till I get a house I can buy actual furniture for.
