About Me

My husband and I travel quite extensively and we love meeting new people from across the world. We have a house in Cocoa Beach, Florida which is only steps from the beach and a house in Playa Dorada, El Salvador which is right on the beach (shown in our profile picture). My husband and I are very active, social, and outgoing, but are just as content sitting by the campfire or seashore enjoying some drinks and sharing stories. We are very easy going and low maintenance and can fit in just about anywhere (if we want to). Between the two of us we have been to Israel, China, India, Vietnam, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Israel, Greece, Italy, England, Germany, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador. We both have great flexibility in our work schedules so it is not unlike us to at the last minute just book a one way ticket to somewhere and go where the wind may blow.

I literally just joined this site yesterday so that is why I don't have any references or friends on the site yet (but if you look up Casa Endless Summer on Facebook you can see reviews from people who have stayed with us).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and I travel a lot and recently just learned about coachsurfing from some travelers we met in El Salvador and ended up hosting. We thought coach surfing would be an interesting way to meet new people and meet with some locals. We consider ourselves travelers, not tourists, and we like to immerse ourselves in the local culture. If you don't know the difference between a traveler and a tourist is then you're either not a traveler or you've never been a tourist. We've been both. Definitely more of travelers, but can also enjoy touristy stuff (to a limit).

Music, Movies, and Books

We love variety so can't pick a favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Freediving.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are constantly learning and experiencing. We believe you should never stop either. We love sharing and hearing other people's experiences and philosophies in life. We are both articulate and have great senses of humor and are just as comfortable engaging in intellectual philosophical conversations as we are telling stupid jokes (but of course funny...at least we think so).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travel experiences with some great stories. We are also both pretty good at cooking, some would say great.
