Hi! I am Andrea from Austria and in December 2024 I packed my bags to explore South America and learn Spanish. Now I am back in Austria to host. I am living here currently with my boyfriend and his cat. I am interested in how towns are designed, enjoy landscapes and nature, love cycling and like doing something to make the world a little of a better place. I enjoy my quiet time as well as going out to eat, and every now and then for a drink or just dancing.

Hola! Soy Andrea y vengo de Austria. En diciembre 2024 me decidí por salir del país y ir a America del Sur para aprender español. Volví a Austria un año después y ahora puedo hospedar a gente de nuevo. Vivo con mi novio y su gato en Viena. Me interesa urbanismo, bicicletas, y hacer algo para cambiar el mundo por el mejor. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A colleague of mine shared really good experiences and I had a trip to South America coming up, so I joined the club! I hosted before my trip, to see the other side. I believe Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get to know people from various parts of the earth and share experiences. Moreover, when traveling, I like to experience the country and people living there in a more local and down to earth way :)

Un compañero de trabajo me recomendó Couchsurfing para mi viaje a Latinoamerica, asi que me registré. Hice hosting en mi casa en Viena antes de irme para conocer ambos lados. Encuentro couchsurfing como una oportunidad para compartir y conocer a gente del todo el mundo. Cuando estoy viajando, me gusta conocer países desde una perspectiva más alla de la turistica.

Music, Movies, and Books

I consider my taste in music very broad, as I'll be willing to go to the rave as well as to the rock or a capella concert or to see the orchestra play. Although, I believe my sweet spot in music lies in 60s soul, with pinches of girl pop, currently a lot of latin pop and some regeatton.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quitting my job and leaving the country without knowing anybod abroad :)

Vienese experience: Debuting at the Vienna Opera Ball, getting behind the scenes experiences to the Opera house, including many unknown rooms and sharing a drink with the first opera dancer and his companions.

Quit my job to live for a year in South America, mostly Chile, without knowing anybody there, not even the language.

Terminar mi trabajo y salir del pais sin conocer a nadie en el extranjero, ni el idioma :)

Mas tipico para Viena: estuve debutando en el Ball de la Opera (el famoso Ball, Jane Fonda y Kim Kardashian tambien fueron una vez). Ví muchos espacios fuera de lo comun en el edificio y conversé con los bailarines de la opera :)

Happy to share Austrian culture (let's define what it is together) or language skills (German/English/Spanish). Telling you about the touristic spots of your home. And of course company, a coffee, conversation. I'm handy with bicycle repairs, and like cats. If you need anything done in your house - let me know.
