Hello! I'm an animal loving Canadian with a passion for people! I have always been so interested in cultures and history; and I am traveling because I want to learn about people and what makes them who they are. I am an athlete and art enthusiast with a curiosity for good food and beautiful sights. I don't think I've ever said no to trying a new and strange food, and am always looking to jump into another adventure. I have seen much of the Western USA, getting the opportunity to travel through that side of the United States as a college athlete!

I love people, I think they are the most interesting and unique things on the planet. I want to couch surf because I want to understand communities and cultures. I think being with locals and getting the opportunity to learn from them first hand is the best way to see the world.

I am a lover of live music and anything with a good drum beat.

As far as films go, I don't take the opportunity to see a lot of them, but if I had to keep going back to one it would probably be Grease (because I love a good hand jive).

Books are a tough one... how do you begin to compile a list? I practically lived in my University library... a big part of that being that I love the smell. I'm going to just have to say anything with a tragic love plot line is going to be on my favourites list.

I played 4 years of college softball and graduated with my bachelors degree on time, I'd say the amazing thing about that is that I survived on minimal sleep for 4 straight years. Those 4 years so far hold all of my top memories in my life.

I'd love to share a meal with you, my host! I think there may not be anything more gratifying in life than sitting down with another person over some good food and great conversation. I think it would be wonderful for each of us to get to teach the other something either in the kitchen or at the table. I'd like to say I am a half decent cook with a pretty easy sense of humour.

I went through quite a phase of loving makeup, and only gave up my large collection to come traveling, although it is all patiently waiting for me at home. I'd be more than happy to teach a few tricks or even give a mini makeover to someone that crosses my path! Another thing i could walk you through is a quick workout, I am MORE THAN HAPPY to share what I learned from my strength and conditioning coaches over my time as an athlete!

If you have a dog, cat, or really any animal that needs some love, I am definitely the lady you want to host!
