Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing to find a place to crash in Summit County (and hopefully meet some new friends along the way) the night before some early volunteer shifts. I volunteer for the Snowboard Outreach Society and have to be on the mountain by 7:45 a.m., and the coordinators recommend finding a place to stay the night before a volunteer shift. Since I don't know anyone who lives in Summit County, I thought I would give Couchsurfing a go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed across the Devil's Backbone between St. Thomas and St. John on a hobie cat, winding up on an uninhabited cay of the coast of St. Thomas. It was my first time sailing, and I'm from Colorado, so dodging ferries and yachts while navigating the sea was an experience I never imagined possible!
