Hello! :)
I am Andrea, an italian guy, who loves travelling. I am currently living in the UK, where I work as a researcher in hydrology. I like playing music, spending time with friends and visiting new places.
I grew up in Milano, but my origins are in the south of the italian boot, from Puglia and Calabria regions. After my MSc studies in Milano, I have been living for 4 years in France, in Montpellier and in Paris and now for more than 1 year in the UK, in Reading, nearby London...
I am a fan of music (playing, jamming, singing and listening to live music), science, art, sport, and good food, cooking and eating! :) I love playing guitar, singing, and travelling, discover new places and meet new friends.

At the moment, in Reading I live in a small shared house, with 4 nice housemates and we don't have a sofa or additional bed to host travellers and friends, sigh. I will probably be able to start again hosting soon. I have hosted some couch-surfers / "bewelcomers" (*) before in Paris, where I have lived just before moving here and you can find some references for me on BeWelcome (*).

I love music. All music which gives me good vibes! Rock, Folk, Blues, song-writers, Gipsy Jazz, classical music and much more.
I don't know if I have a favorite book, but one I have loved the most is "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Kundera.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to learn new languages and teach some words of Italian or French... the next language I would like to learn is Spanish! :)
I can teach some Italian cooking recipes.
I can share some tips or teach basis of guitar and singing to beginners.
I am always happy to jam or improvise on some blues, easy jazz or folk music with other people. For me, Music is sharing! :)
