About Me

Currently living in Madison, which is the capital of WI. I am finishing my Master's in Social Work from the U of Wisconsin. I am hoping to become a school social worker and work at a high school.

Right now, I live in an eight person cooperative house, which is part of a larger network of co-op housing in Madison. I like to surround myself with others who are thoughtful, inquisitive, and who are able to enjoy the small things in life. I appreciate nature and have more recently have been learning how to small farm. I have a strong interest in social justice and helping create a more equitable society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started Couchsurfing in Europe in 2012 and became hooked! I love that it has allowed me to meet local people and learn about other ways of life. It forces us to be vulnerable and trust others in different ways that I think can lead to wonderful experiences.

I have hosted many surfers here in the U.S. I've met all types from balloon artists to documentary makers. Often, I am reminded that it's possible to take chances and follow your crazy ideas. I love meeting interesting people who I would never meet otherwise.
