HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to host people. It was so far every time a wonderful experience and quite often hard to see them leaving.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a really nice, first and so far only, couchsurf experience together with my daughter in Dijon, France.

兴趣

I love spending time outdoors on or at the lake or in the mountains.
But I also love art, music and good movies. Meditation plays an important part in my life (Vipassana). I like to read and to learn everyday something new.

From the old times: movies by Frederico Fellini, Jacques Tati and Luchino Visconti (I especially love Rocco e Suoi FratellI), The Whale Rider and many, many more (just can't remember all of them ...)
My favorite Books are Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren ;-), The Neverending Story by Michael Ende, 100 Years of Solitude by Garcia Marquez, Books by J.R. Tolkien, The Kite Runner by K. Hosseini, The Book Thief by M. Zusak, Room by Emma Donoghue, The Help by K. Stockett, Mister Pip by Lloyd Jones and many more. I read a lot and could add another dozens at least.
