I'm a teacher! I adore meeting new people and hearing their stories. Also, I like to get an insider perspective on anywhere I go...and let's face it; traveling the world on a teacher salary requires some creativity!

reading and writing, long-distance running, cooking, Buddhism/meditation, yoga, hiking and all outdoorsy natury business, learning languages, teaching, discussing anything at all, the blues, trivia, radio talk shows, music of all kinds, and probably lots more.

peace of mind and an eager ear. I'm a peaceful, easy, super clean and considerate guest. I am from the midwest of the US--it's in my blood to be polite and unassuming. I love to listen, but I have a great love of silence as well. I'm also a pretty stellar vegetarian cook if that's our currency :-)
