CURRENT MISSION

My dream is to travel in the world for knowing people, cultures and customs. Make some adventure, write about this, realize a video and open a web site on these travel/adventure. But my real objective is to write about it.

ABOUT ME

I'm an italian guy of 21 years old.
I always been a sportive guy, therefore, I consider me athletic. I live in north Italy, for this reason I'm tied at the mountain; indeed, I play: snowboard, rock climbing, trekking and other activity of this environment. i like also the sea, and in particular mode the watersports like windsurfing, sub, kayak, ecc.. that I've practised.
I'm, therefore, a lover of two world but not in conventional type. I don't like the massive tourists or the crowd, I prefer the wild nature (snow-clad summits difficult to reach, the power of immense sea, desert beaches or lonely places) where we lose us for find ourselves and crossing our limits. I not disgust the people, in fact, i like knowing new people, cultures and realities, but knowing them in their world, from traveller, and not from tourist who watch from outside.
I love the European cultures and histories, the variety of population, traditions and places, i like the cities and their people; I want know these, the different kind of life and, after, write about this.
In addition to this I love the oriental cultures, exotic and a little mystics, in specific the sphere with traditions in martial arts. Instead, I always been atracted from oxcident. The America have opposite characters, a beatiful places of nature, lonely and wild; and fascinating cities. I love north America (Canada) for variety of places, and i love the American indians and their relation with mother Earth; and, also, Patagonia attract me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now i want participate at CS like a surfer. In this summer and autumn I'm going to descend the Danube with a kayak from Ulm to Tulcea. One time that Danube is terminated, I’m going to ride with my bicycle up to Kiev passing through Odessa and Nicolaev. I wanna see the Ukrainian situation, know their people and give them a hand I’m going to do video or writing about this.
Afterwards I’m going to north-west to Baltic Sea going through Poland, after, ride along the coast on east way up to Hamburgh. Finally I’m going to go along the road to Munich for coming back in Italy.
For this reason I need to some people who can host me in this adventure. I search friends and people to meet, with whose talk and have fun.
After this my voyage, when I'll returned home I want host people for know of them and help how I hope will be for me.
I know this system of travel last year when, with a 4 friends we couldn't find a camping in Munich, and a guy who travel in past in Europe and Russia with CS host all us without problem.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't got any experience with couchsurfing yet, but I would doing it as soon as. At first like traveller and after like an host.

Interests

I'm a sportive boy and i like almost all sports. In the years I practiced a lot of activity: ice hockey, football, athletic, ski, windsurf, rafting, parkour ecc... But my favourite sports are: rock climbing, snowboarding, trekking and all that concern the mountain. I love see ice hockey match, especially the NHL. In my region are so diffused winter sport because the Alps is the right environment, but I'm attracted from water sport like sub and winsurf which I tried and surf or sailing boat that i want try.
Further of the sports i like very much the cinema and literature, in fact after some adventure i want try to write about this; i listen a lot of different kinds music. I love the good food and try different kitchens and the great wine it's fantastic.
More than this i like talk about philosophy and sometimes politic and economy.
I think but, the my best interest is for voyage and his adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the cinematography. My favourite movie is Into the wild because I see myself in the exploration of protagonist, the discover of the world with his realities and its interior being; and i love also the book. Other films that I like are Dead poets society, A clockwork orange, Forrest gump, the Marvel's film and all 007, The ocean 11-12-13, ecc.. I like a little all movies.
As regard music i like irish music because i stay in Dublin in summer and it was beautiful. Therefore I listen Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys. Other these i like rock music like AC DC or Guns N' Roses, but i listen also reggae: Bob Marley or Alborosie and calm music as Radical face or Eddie Vedder; punk as NOFX or Italian singers. I like also the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Instead, I love reading and it's so difficult to decide my favourite books. In past i read only different types of book with a linear story (adventure, history, fantastic, ecc...). Now i prefer read the philosophical books or ancient classic (Machiavelli, Henry David Thoreau, ecc..) or essays. I like a lot On the road of Jack Kerouac and The flowers of evil by Charles Baudelaire.
