CURRENT MISSION
Carpe Diem!!! Enjoy life, discover and learn. No better experience than being far from your home!
ABOUT ME
Hi everyone!
I'm Andrea, a French woman living in Paris (it's been 3 years), but I was born in Lyon. I love travelling and have always travelled : my mum is Portuguese, so the first time I left the country, I was 9 months. I'm nice (well I hope so!) and love meeting new people.
Being French, I love cheese (I'm not kidding, this is delicious), wine and croissants.
I love whisky, my dad taught me that: Talisker, Highland park, Japanese whiskyâ¦
I like cooking and I think I'm not so bad (you'll let me know)
If you're in Paris, let's meet!
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe Diem! Life's short, enjoy it now! The world is full of magic, so go out!

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I really love reading. I think my favourite author is Dostoevsky ("Les nuits blanches" is my favourite book). I enjoy English literature (Mark Twain for instance), but not only. I often buy books in small shops in Paris just randomly. That's a good way to discover new things or great authors from other countries. Doing so, I discovered Yasushi Inoue, a Japanese writer or Carlos Fuentes. French literature is also full of surprises. I love Victor Hugo's poems. I can read in Portuguese too, and Jose Saramago is one of the best.
Music⦠this is a tough one! I would say it's a part of me. I used to play the trombone at the conservatory; it's not common but definitely beautiful. I listen to music all day long: I work with music, it helps thinking.
I'm really open concerning music: rock (classical mostly like ACDC, Iron Maiden), classical music (Tchaikovsky!, Chopin), metal music (Opeth!!, Children of Bodom), Jazz, Reggae or electronic music (Daft punk!, Vitalic ) â¦
I also enjoy a good movie (or a funny one even if it's stupid) but I don't watch TV. Tarantino's movies are so great!!
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Barton springs in Austin, Texas. A natural pool with natural water.
Chicago empty (I swear, this was weird! On easter… )
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I can share my passion for photography (I'm no expert, but love it), tell you about the places I've seen, explain why the sky is blue, or how to say smthg in French. I can bother you with the books I loved and make you a good smoothie. (OK, this may sound a little boring, but I'm cool, remember ;) )
I'd like to learn your language or recipe from your home. If you play an instrument that's fantastic, I'd love to try; and anythg you wanna teach me!
I also can teach you some music (how to read)!
