I am Andrea,
I come from a little village in Tuscany, Bibbiena in Casentino. I am a simple person, very interested in taking part to local development projects. I am a polyhedrial person.
I grow up farming in the country side and I graduated in Florence in Development Economics. I lived in Istanbul (Turkey), Faro (Portugal), Corse (France), Sardegna and Tuscany to Study and Work, and taking part to local/rural development projects. I have an undertaking and flexible personality and I am interested in many fields and open to any opportunity, and I would be able to contribute with my knowledge, energy and ideas.
My interest in cooperation, agriculture and development comes directly from my origins. In fact, I come from Casentino, a rural valley in Tuscany, where nature is rich and pure, and represents our real wealth. My family comes from an agricultural background and I have grown up with respect and thankfulness for nature and its products. Moreover my interest in cooperation and agriculture dates back to my early involvement in local solidarity associations and first travels amid rural and pastoral communities of West-Africa, Senegal and Cameroon. My particular commitment towards environmental and social problems is the ground of my educational career in the field of development, with a major in economics as my favourite research approach.

I am interested in taking part at rural local development projects. I have applied my capabilities, skills and knowledge to my place of birth, Casentino, which is strongly linked to the agro-alimentary products. 

兴趣

Nowadays, the struggle for the defense of local typical products is a real emergency and I believe in the mission to save the typical/local high-quality rural productions and traditions, linking peoples, places and products.
