About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I really would like to grab lunch with travelers that are passing through my area and/or people who live in my area that share a passion for travel and connection with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never hosted or couch surfed, though I have wanted to ever since I joined this website. I currently live with someone who is not open to it, but I believe that people are inherently good and that there is something to be learned from everyone. I would love to grab lunch with other people on this site or go on a little "day trip" mini adventure that involves hiking or another fun activity. I loved my time spent traveling, and I really miss it. I hope to do a bit of living vicariously by connecting with fellow travelers and to schedule a trip somewhere soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, music, and books. I watch all types of movies, but not horror because I do not like to be scared in that way. I used to sing for various performances and shows, and I am looking to get back into it. I particularly enjoy reading novels by Jodi Piccoult because I like how she takes difficult topics such as sexual abuse or having an ill child and presenting them in a way that makes them very real.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to travel on Semester at Sea when I was in college. I went to several different countries that included Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Egypt, Turkey, and Croatia. I loved every minute of the traveling experience from walking a portion of The Great Wall of China to holding a baby tiger in Thailand. What I loved most was talking to local people in all of the places that I visited; it is quite a small world, and amazing how we are connected in ways that we may not realize.
