I am doing a research project for my Master degree in Quebec, Canada. My project is on management and governance of indigenous protected areas at Université Laval, Quebec city. During my undergraduate studies I did a semester abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, which is when I first used Couchsurfing.

I am a curious woman who like to learn about other cultures by experiencing them and also to meet people with different opinions. I am also active and I like to practice a lot of sports (hiking, climbing, kayaking, snowboarding, and diving are my favorite!). I also like artistic activities when I can't go outside such as crafting and drawing. Photography is another artistic activity I do especially when travelling or when I do outdoor activities, even if I'm not really good at it!

And just so you know, I am a dog person, I am involved in a rescue organism and I am a dog mom of a labrador :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share with other travellers, meet amazing people and learn about the real life in a country and see a place not only from tourists' eyes.

Unfortunately, I can't accept guess. First, because we don't have any bed left and we are really busy. I wish one day we can accept guess. But for now, if you want a tour of Quebec City and Lévis or tips to travel to Quebec and Canada, let's go for a walk or a coffee (well for me it will be a hot chocolate since I don't like coffee!)

Interests

Since I am studying ecology, I love wildlife! Often, when I choose to go somewhere, I look first at the landscapes and wildlife. I like cities but only for one day or two during a trip. After that, I like to explore by doing outdoors activities such as hiking, kayaking or anything else! I also like History and I always read about the countries' History before I get there.

Mostly 80's and 90's music: Michael Jackson, Red Hot Chili Pepers, U2, Styx, Kiss, etc..
But also commercial pop music sometimes and Francophone Band from Quebec when I am far away from home like Cowboys Fringants, les Colocs, Loco Locass, Samian, 2 Frères, Emile Bilodeau, Kain, Trois Accords, etc...
Marvel movies (all of them!) and action movies.
I like to read documentaries about other cultures, countries and history, but also about wildlife.
