About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make art and not take things too seriously.

ABOUT ME

I live and work in my hometown, Washington, DC. I have a full-time job at a school that keeps me busy and challenged. But I also have a studio space that I've been working in. Right now, I'm just trying to figure out how art can play a bigger role in my everyday life. I want to always be motivated and excited by new ideas... yeah. And just be inspired!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My summer spent in Erie, PA (of all places) was probably the best use of my time and energy so far. Working as a teaching assistant for high school students who were interested in the arts has been one of the best experiences in my life. To see them begin to open up about their work, get excited about the possibilities, and just going through the struggles of being an artist is a really amazing thing to witness and facilitate.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Ceramics! Cooking, basic baking, gardening, VERY basic web design.

Learn: Spanish, por favor. How to knit socks! How to trick myself into saving more money!
