I made this profile as a suggestion from some friends I have met here. They told me about great experiences from couchsurfing and thats why I would like to try it out. I do have an airbnb account aswell (with only great recieved reviews) but the experience is apparently not the same according to them.

To get closer to the people of the countries I will visit. I believe this makes the experience more real and rewarding. I'm also hoping for some inside information about hidden gems (places to eat, visit, special events that I might be lucky to arrive for, and so on).
