About Me

Hi everyone,

I'm Andreas, 24 y/o student from Germany, Hamburg. While studying Process engineering in masters I try to explore as many places as possible aslong as I'm not bound to any jobs or own family. My hobbies are changing now a bit, as I'm doing an exchange semester in Tokyo, but main hobbies are sports (bouldering, fitness and running), watching movies and hanging out with friends. Well these won't change.
I really like to meet new people and learn about their thoughts and opinions, because that's the best way to expand your view. And due to I'm very open minded and easy going it always ends up in some fun :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here on Couchsurfing because I like the Idea to share a place to sleep with other people who like to travel, giving everyone a chance to travel on low budget. It opens the opportunity to see places which would be too expensive otherwise.
Additionally you get to know new people, usually locals if you visit a place, learn their way of thinking and learn about their opinions, which is I think the best way to learn.

So having said why I like couchsurfing, effectively I'm here to find places and people while traveling around and on the other hand offering a place to stay when it is possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything very mixed, from Indie over Metal to Classic, but preferably Indie I guess. I like to watch movies in general ver much, hard to name a favorite. And I like Authors like Hemingway, Orwell or Dan Simmons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bouldering on rocks at the coast of Taiwan.

Teach, Learn, Share

Difficult question for the short time of a stay. Most probably sharing stories and experiences that I made so far.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the experiences I made until now, though there are not so many as I'm still quite young. My thoughts, views and opinions on things.

But most important just some easy and fun time.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan

Countries I’ve Lived In
