About Me
Servus - Hi - Hello - Hola! - Ciao! - Merhaba! -Nǐhǎo - Olá! - Hallo - Hej! - Grüß Gott - Dav! - Hiya -Ahoj! Chum reap suor!
"Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show".
I always like to hang out with people from froeign countries, learn about different cultures and visit friends all around the world.
Someday I want to have an alpaca.
I love travelling, meeting new people and listening to people's stories. I think the best way to get a "free" mind is TRAVELLING. In my free time I'm teaching swimming to kids, work as a postman, go hiking, do sports and visit different cities.
Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to. Respect is earned, not given.
CURRENT MISSION
"There is some good in this world,
and it's worth fighting for" - JRR. Tolkien
Life always puts stones in your way. Collect them and build a path with them. Think about the good things in life. Surround yourself with people and things you like. Forget people who are not worth to fight for.
Be happy ! Stay humble :)
I really love the chance of meeting people from many nations around the world. It's inspiring and enriches me a lot. I'm always open to meet people from every country, no matter from where you are !
Living my life ! Travelling as much as possible! Meeting inspiring people ! Making people happy! Those are kind of my "guidlines" in my life. For me it's not important how someone looks like. Just tell me your story and be yourself then I'm pretty sure we'll get along.
"Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before“ – Dalai Lama.
My aim is it to do it more than once a year ! :)
I also want to walk the GR10, the Camino de Santiago or cycle through Europe someday !
WHO AM I ?
Hard to describe myself without sounding selfish but I will try it :
SPONTANEOUS SPIRIT, down-to-earth,
Open-minded, relaxed, introvert easy-going, calm, laid back, respectful and friendly. So I think it's easy to get along with me. However I prefer bars/pubs instead of clubs although I don't like alcohol. Its just the taste of it - I don't like it. I also don't smoke.

How my LIFE will look like in the future ? - I don't really know. Sure I have some thoughts about what I can do in the next years. Let's see. Making plans is not always the best! Most time you feel constricted because of them. When I'm travelling I ususally don't make any plans about places to see in the countries. I listen to advice of locals and then go there. I did it eg. on my trip through Spain. It was really great - DECIDE on one day what you'll do the other day.
PHILOSOPHY
"No amount of money or material possessions could ever replace the FRIENDSHIPs and EXPERIENCEs we create by travelling."
"Don't make promises you can't keep! "
"It's not really money that makes you richer, it's more the experience you gain."
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. EXPLORE! DREAM! DISCOVER!" - Mark Twain
"At the end we regret the chances we didn't take! "
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm here to get in touch with different people, cultures and languages.
It's nice to meet new people from all over the world :). That's what life makes special. As a "surfer" I'm not really demanding - I can sleep everywhere; find my own way through the city if you don't have time :) I'm looking forward to MEETING YOU ! :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted many people in MUNICH. - about 100 people - I didn't count them all. For me it's not really important how many people I've hosted or how many references I have. Sure, I appreciate every reference :). But for me it's more important to spend time with people, listen to their stories and to keep in touch afterwards. Basically I have to say , that I met many great people through couchsurfing. I really liked the time with my surfers I've hosted. I like when people are open-minded and easy to get along.

Ok, there are 2 exceptions about which I want to write some words because it's not possible to comment detailed under the references ( you can find them under my "negative references".) :
1) to the 2 Canadians: I accepted them for 2 days and they told me they'll arrive at 7 pm. Then they wrote me at 8 pm that they are still in another city and will arrive at around 2 am. So I still accepted them! They arrived at around 2.30 am. We slept and the next day I came back from work and they texted me at 11 pm that they will sleep in another city and come back the next day. You should know that CS is not just stroring your luggage! To waste the time of others with such a behaviour is not really kind.
2) the girl from Chile: Although I'm thinking every word is one word too much I'll write some lines. I've accepted her for 4 nights. The first day was alright; the second night she came totally drunk back home - shouted around at night (I lived in a residential home!) . I always thought that it can happen - that's why I didn't mention it in her reference. The rest of the time she was not really talkative, didn't left my home when I said it, messed my kitchen & didn't tidy up afterwards and it felt like she's using couchsurfing just to have a roof over her head. To write afterwards lies in the reference about somebody is just poor!

I like the movie "Tracers"
I have books ! :D But I don't really read them. I know that's quite bad. So I try to start reading books in the future. It's a good way to gain knowledge about different topics.
I'm listening to many different types of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My journey through Australia ! I travelled 100 days through Australia and met a lot of awesome people there. Melbourne & Syndey are my favorite cities.
In that case I have to mention my trip through Northern Ireland, Scotland and Spain as well. I just booked the flights between Germany/Scotland and Northern Ireland/Spain and skipped my flight back to Germany. The rest of the trip I travelled SPONTANEOUSLY. I talked with locals there and then went to places they recommended. THANKS SO MUCH TO ALL THE PEOPLE I MET THERE and WHO HOSTED ME. I really liked all of you and hope to keep in touch with you guys forever.
The weirdest thing I've ever done :
Swimming 33 kilometers within 1 day
Cycling from sunrise to sunset ~ 201 kms in one day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you German, Franconian and Bavarian ( German dialects).
I can teach you some simple words like FÜNFHUNDERTFÜNFUNDFÜNFZIG or Papperlapapp - no worries, you can make it ! ;)
Besides that I can give you or your kids advice in swimming.
Of course it's possible to show you the city of MUNICH if I'm there. No, not just like the main sights !- in those I'm not really interested. We can make a short walk of about 10 kilometers with all my favorite places in Munich. I think nobody regret it so far. ;)
You want to go to the Alps or the area around Munich? You can text me as well ;) - I think I know that area quite good.
