Discover Colombia, I am spending three months in Colombia. During this time I will participate in different volunteering projects and travel to interesting places.

Where I am from

I am from the German-speaking part of Italy. Yes that exists It is a small region called South Tyrol in the North of Italy and close to Austria. It is a beautiful place in the middle of the Alps, with a lot of mountains and lakes. We speak both languages, German and Italian, in South Tyrol and we also have good mix of both cultures. Once I told you more about it, you will put this place on your travel-list.

What am I doing when I am not travelling

When I am not travelling I am living and studying in Vienna. Next to my studies I am part of the student organization AIESEC, where we organize social projects. Other than that, four friends and I started our own integration project with refugees. It is called “Buddies without Borders” and connects young refugees with students in Vienna.

I am fascinated by people and their life-stories. This is why I like Couchsurfing, because you have the chance to get to know so many different people.

Since for me couchsurfing is also about getting to know different cultures, I would like to share something from the place where I am from with you. So I would like to show you how to cook delicous italian carbonara and also share Mozartkugeln (Austrian chocolate) with you.
