About Me

I believe in the nobility of the human spirit.
Wait, this is from the song I'm listening now;))

I just graduated from college, and now I work as a freelance writer. My projects allow me to travel whenever I want and I have a long, long wishlist. However, I don't like to hurry.
I'm really not the typical tourist. I want to remember the places I see like a rich, beautiful story, not like a list of things I saw. I feel cities have their own souls and I'm interested in discovering them piece by piece. I walk the streets endlessly searching for simple, yet meaningful moments of grace in the lives of people, I love to share long conservations with strangers and to feel that I could love them a little bit, I love to randomly find a beautiful spot and think of it like it is my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently moved to Bucharest and I live in a small studio, therefore I can not host. I'm available for meetups, I love meeting people and sharing stories with other travelers to cure my wanderlust.

I'm very passionate about all my interests, and some of them revolve around some form of art ( literature, music, photography being the most important). The rest revolve around the idea of exploring the world and life with my own senses, (not just through an artistic medium) which means: being outside in nature, traveling, urban exploring, hiking, meeting people and developing real, unique connections, going to live concerts, etc..

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Buddha collapsed out of shame, Cinema Paradiso, La vita e bella, In Bruges, Waking life, Schindler"s List, Before Sunset, Into the wild, Fight Club, My night at Maud's, etc.

Books: Henry D. Thoreau, Emerson, Dostoieski, V. Woolf, Hermann Hesse, C. Aitmatov, C. Pavese, Bukowski, Pablo Neruda, G.G. Marquez, and many, many more. Literature is a big part in my life.

Music: music is my religion. I enjoy a wide variety of genres, from metal to classical, to shoe-gaze to post-rock to soul to many others. I love to listen to movie or games OSTs, to feel like a character in my own amazing movie :))
