I believe in the nobility of the human spirit.
Wait, this is from the song I'm listening now;))
At the moment, I've started a European tour which will take me across many countries for the next 6-7 months. Since I work as a freelance writer, I can finally fulfill my dream of being a nomad explorer for a while. My projects allow me to travel long-term and I have a long, long wishlist. However, I don't like to hurry, because I prefer to remember the places I visit like a rich, beautiful story, not like some must-see items checked on a list.
About me? Hmm, I'm a typical idealist with a craving for inspiration, meaning, freedom. I live to BE, not to do or to have. I'm simply obsessed with artistic expression, doesn't matter the form: literature, photography, music, etc..I absorb constantly from outside. I love storytelling, and I'm working to improve my writing and my photography. Travel is a necessity for me because my creativity needs new material to work it. I love simple living.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't had the chance to host because I've been living in university dorms until recently, and now I'm on the road. I've met many, many people through Couchsurfing and I've developed some nice friendships with fellow travelers.
I'm very passionate about all my interests, and some of them revolve around some form of art ( literature, music, photography being the most important). The rest revolve around the idea of exploring the world and life with my own senses, (not just through an artistic medium) which means: being outside in nature, traveling, urban exploring, hiking, meeting people and developing real, unique connections, going to live concerts, etc..
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Buddha collapsed out of shame, Cinema Paradiso, La vita e bella, In Bruges, Waking life, Schindler"s List, Before Sunset, Into the wild, Fight Club, My night at Maud's, etc.
Books: Henry D. Thoreau, Emerson, Dostoieski, Jack Kerouac, Andrei Makine, V. Woolf, Hermann Hesse, C. Aitmatov, C. Pavese, Bukowski, Pablo Neruda, G.G. Marquez, and many, many more. Literature is a big part of my life.
Music: music is my religion. I enjoy a wide variety of genres, from metal to classical, to shoe-gaze to post-rock to soul to many others. I love to listen to movie or games OSTs, to feel like a character in my own amazing movie :))
