Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to travel around Europe and I would absolutely love it if I could meet some new people while doing it. So far I've made quite a few friends in lots of Erasmus+ youth exchanges, but I can never have enough interesting friends to discuss and get along with.

Interests

I love writing in all sorts of genres, from short stories to fiction and poetry. I also enjoy reading books, watching series, shows or movies, sharing memes online and making new friends through social media, as well as online. I gotta say, I'm also a huge fan of musicals, and my favourites include Hamilton, Heathers, Waitress, Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chil and many, many more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love lots of music genres, from rock and metal to jazz, classical, pop, opera, kpop, musical theatre and alternative or indie. Some of my favourite artists at the moment are Hayley Kiyoko, Wallows, Girl in Red, King Princess, Ruel, Tessa Violet and LAUV.
As for books, oh boy, where do I even begin? My favourite book for over 2 years has been Aristotle and Dante Discover the secrets of the universe, which is an amazing coming of age story. My favourite book series is The Raven Cycle, and my favourite authors are Stephen King, Rainbow Rowell, Nicola Yoon, Victoria Aveyard, John Green and many others.
As for movies, I LOVE the Saw franchise, as well as the Final Destination one, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, and others. I also love series such as Brooklyn99, Killing Eve, She-Ra, Adventure Time, How I Met Your Mother and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say the most amazing thing I've seen so far was the Bucharest Pride this year, which was absolutely breathtaking and amazing. I've never felt so welcomed and safe in my life before, and it was such a friendly environment. Definitely a great experience I wish to repeat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know all sorts of random facts which my brain decides I need, as well as lots of lgbtq+ and feminist related information. Basically, I can talk about all sorts of topics, and I'm interested in learning lots about lots, but also sharing my own personal insight on certain matters. Although at the beginning I might be shy, once I warm up to someone, it's gonna be hard for me to stop talking about things which I'm passionate about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, I'd say I can offer a nice company and maybe even my friendship. I'm also not that loud, and I'm extremely friendly and open to meeting new people. I can also try and bring some Romanian sweets if I'm staying over, but I won't guarantee they'll make it through all the crowded luggage (I'll try, though).
