HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I join CS because I want to find travel mates for a trip around my country - Romania. We had an idea to bring travellers from around the world together with us on a discovery trip of the past and present reality of Romania.

We offer to organize some special moments during the trip like: pottery, bascket making, milking a cow, traditional mowing, tasting traditional drinks and foods, hiking… together with finding some cheap accomodation, transport and food.

But most important we will bring Romanian History - from Dachias and Romans to Romania EU Country. Every day will mean a new period in the Romanian history presented in a creative and interractive way.

First I want to bring to CS Uni my Historical Trip around Romania.

Short description:
Me together with a group of young romanians curious about the world and our country. We had an idea to bring travellers from around the world together with us on a discovery trip of the past and present reality of Romania.

We offer to organize some special moments during the trip like: pottery, bascket making, milking a cow, traditional mowing, tasting traditional drinks and foods, hiking… together with finding some cheap accomodation, transport and food.

The timming we were thinking about is: end of July or end of August.

Among the places to visit: Sarmizegetusa Regia - Dachia empire capital fortress; Timisoara, Sibiu-Hermannstadt, Sighisoara, Brasov - medieval towns; Peles, Bran - castels; Horezu - monastery; Parang Mountains.

We will have a tour theme: Romanian History - from Dachias and Romans to Romania EU Country. Every day will mean a new period in the Romanian history presented in a creative and interractive way.

We will try to have a low impact on the environment and added value to the communities we visit. (travel by public transport, consuming local food, having rural accomodation,…).
