Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, Couchsurfing is about trust, openness, and genuine human connection.

It’s not just a place to sleep — it’s a way to exchange warmth, stories, and pieces of our culture. I believe that every person we meet teaches us something new — whether it’s a recipe for perfect dumplings, a life philosophy, or a new way of seeing the world.

My simple philosophy: share kindness, stay curious, and create memories that stay in the heart.

I found out about Couchsurfing by chance — through a wonderful girl from Ukraine whom I met on my journey. She shared how she had traveled across the world, from Mexico to Japan, meeting people, living through stories, and finding kindness everywhere.

Her energy and stories inspired me deeply — and I thought: why not open myself to new people too, even if my English isn’t perfect?

I believe that we’re all brothers and sisters, born under the same sun.
And that means — with the right people, I’ll always find a common language, a shared smile, and something meaningful to talk about.
