About Me
Hi! Привет! Merhaba! Բարև!
I’m Andrei — an avid traveler, photography addict, and architect in the making
I’m Russian-Armenian originally from Sochi - the warmest city in Russia( yes, we don’t have snow at all and its pretty hot there)
I now live in Turin and study architecture at Politecnico di Torino
I’m the kind of person who will walk 10 km just to see one interesting building, take 100 photos of a shadow on a wall, then end up in suburbs of a city at 2 AM while talking listening to my favourite music
I love meeting people from different cultures, discovering cities through locals, and having deep conversations about life, art, and anything in between
I a big fan of sport, I do basketball professionally, also play football and run sometimes. Furthermore I can myself a gymbro
I’m easygoing, curious, open-minded, and always ready for a new adventure. If you’re into architecture, photography, food, long walks, or laughing at random things — we’ll get along perfectly!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because people make traveling meaningful
I love meeting new people, exploring different cultures, discovering local secrets, and feeling the spirit of every place — not just the tourist version.
I also try to bring everything I learn into my architecture profession. Every new city, every culture, every experience inspires me and shapes how I see the world

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I’m actually a true melomane, I listen to every genre of music that I love . But I would say my favourite ones are alternative rock & neo-classical
Movies: Scientific, documentary, and anything that makes you think or question reality
Books: Big Kafka fan (yes, I enjoy beautiful existential confusion), philosophy books and art involved ones
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked through the whole island of Cyprus , while trying to learn language and hiked for a week in the mountains near the lake
Also swam in the Atlantic ocean naked at night being alone at the beach ( you should try it)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love exchanging knowledge and experiences, and Couchsurfing is perfect for that. I can teach you some photography basics, show you how to see architecture in a new way, or cook a few dishes from Russia and Armenia. I also enjoy sharing languages — I can help you with Russian, Turkish, Armenian that somehow always appears in my conversations
At the same time, I’m always excited to learn new things. New languages, local history, hidden places in your city, or your favorite recipe — I’m open to everything. I really enjoy discovering how people live and think in different parts of the world
What I love most is simply sharing moments: stories, walks, music, late-night talks, meals, and experiences that make traveling meaningful. For me, CS is all about connection, kindness, and learning from each other in the most natural way
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m always happy to share good vibes, stories, and a friendly atmosphere. I love cooking, so I can prepare something tasty from my culture
Since photography is a big part of my life, I can also take some nice photos of you or your city!
I am in love with language exchange too, and I’m always ready for a walk, a chat, or exploring your favorite local spots
