I am Andreia and I love travelling. I discovered this pleasure when my mother told me that we were going to Valencia on a plane for the first time, I was around ten yeras old and it was amazing! I have always liked learning languages because I think knowing people from other cultures is enriching and I don't want language to be an obstacle. In addition, my father taught me to appreciate nature and its wonders doing trekkings and telling me about mountains and trees. I am a curious person, I like adventure, doing different things, enjoy every moment and meeting people (you can always learn a lot from other people and their lives). Maybe all those things are the reasons why I love travelling. My big dream is travelling around the whole world.

I have known this community for some years, many people tell good things about it, but I had never experience it. I think that it was partly because I usually go to hostels because I travel with friends and partly because I had some distrust. However, I have realized that you can make the most of your trip if you meet locals because thay can show you very interesting things out of the usual guides and you can learn better the culture. So I would like to give it a chance and try the experience.

My favourite bands are Coldplay and Florence & The Machine. But listen to almost any music genre, especially pop-rock, indie music and folk music.

My favourite films are Big Fish, Amélie and, since last year, Captain Fantastic has been added to that list. I also like almost all Pixar films.

Last but not least, I could say that I am a big Harry Potter fan (I have grown up reading those books) an a big GoT fan, but I am not sure if I have a favourite book. I really loved La sombra del viento (The shadow of the wind) and I like fantasy books and crime fictions.

I can teach some Spanish (or even Galician!) if you want or maybe show you a bit of Galicia and our culture or have talks about anything.
I don't like cooking very much honestly, but I'm willing to cook a Spanish omelette so you could see how it is made and how it tastes and to thank you for your kindness.
