I'm a child of Mexican immigrants, born in New York and raised in Connecticut. I graduated college in May 2024 with degrees in Political Science and Sociology and a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. After graduating, I spent three months living and volunteering in Chile which was a beautiful and rewarding experience. During my free time, I like to go bouldering, read/write poetry, hike, paint, and catch a good sunset.

Soy hija de inmigrantes mexicanos, nací en Nueva York y crecí en Connecticut. Me gradué de la universidad en mayo de 2024 con títulos en Ciencias Políticas y Sociología y especialización en Estudios Latinoamericanos y Caribeños. Después de graduarme, pasé tres meses viviendo y haciendo voluntariado en Chile, lo cual fue una experiencia hermosa y gratificante. Durante mi tiempo libre, me gusta practicar búlder, leer y escribir poesía, ir hiking, pintar y disfrutar de una buena puesta de sol.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to connect with local residents and experience their culture first-hand. I love meeting new people and teaching them my favorite Mexican dishes and swear words lol. I also hope to meet people that can give me backpacking tips (I am new to this world!) and camping tips because a goal of mine is to backpack through South America.

Quiero conectarme con los residentes locales y experimentar su cultura de primera mano. Me encanta conocer gente nueva y enseñarles mis platos mexicanos favoritos. También espero conocer gente que pueda darme consejos para viajar como mochilera (¡soy nuevo en este mundo!) y consejos para acampar porque uno de mis objetivos es viajar con mochila por Sudamérica.
