The Hallyu Wave Rider: My third daughter lives for Asian culture—analyzing K-drama dialogues, practicing Hangul calligraphy, or debating which BTS member has the best stage presence. Her dream? Sipping dalgona coffee in a Seoul cat café while discussing linguistics with locals. ☕🇰🇷

The Tiny Engineer: My 10-year-old can recite Ljubljana’s entire bus schedule but recently declared irrigation systems his true calling (after trams, obviously). 🚍💡

At home, I’m the Chief Memory-Maker—hunting lost homework, baking emergency cookies, hosting Minecraft birthdays, and pretending not to notice eye-rolls when I dance to 80s hits. 🎉 I’m young at heart and still get carded at wine shops! 🍷😉

Two adventures stand out in my life, each a testament to embracing the wild and the wonder of the world:

40 Days of Interrail with My 4-Year-Old: I took my then-4-year-old son on a 40-day Interrail journey across Scandinavia, weaving through fjords, forests, and vibrant cities. From chasing northern lights in Norway to sharing stories with strangers on Swedish trains, we discovered that adventure knows no age. His tiny hand in mine, we learned that a train ticket can be a passport to magic—complete with spilled juice boxes and impromptu naps under starry skies. 🚂❄️

Soaring as a Paragliding Pilot: There’s nothing like the rush of leaping off a cliff and gliding above Slovenia’s emerald valleys as a paragliding pilot. Feeling the wind carry me, I’m part bird, part dreamer, dancing with the clouds. Whether it’s the Julian Alps or a quiet meadow, every flight reminds me that freedom is just a gust away. 🪂✨

These moments fuel my belief that the best stories come from saying yes to the unknown—whether on the ground with my son or in the sky with the wind.
