About Me
Hey there! I'm Andrés Gómez — a 28-year-old Colombian with fire in my veins and a heart full of curiosity. I’m a digital marketing expert and currently supervise a multicultural team, which has taught me so much about communication, empathy, and how beautiful diversity can be.
I’m also passionate about travel and all the little things that make life special: a good sunset, a quiet walk in nature, dancing to Latin rhythms, and cooking something I’ve never tried before (bonus points if it’s spicy — even better if there’s a glass of wine involved 🍷🌶️).
I live in Bogotá with my cats and my boyfriend. While I haven’t traveled a lot yet (I’ve been focused on personal and professional projects), I’m excited to change that. I want to keep improving my English, discover new perspectives, and step outside my bubble.
At first, I might be a little shy — but give me a moment, and I’ll open up like a good bottle of wine 🍷. I value respect, kindness, and meaningful conversations. I speak Spanish, English, and a little Portuguese (still learning!).
If you host me, you can expect someone clean, polite, and genuinely curious about your culture. I love connecting with people, sharing stories, laughter, and maybe even some dance moves!
Thanks in advance — hope to meet you soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here because I refuse to live in monotony. I want to explore more of the world, break routines, and truly live new experiences.
For me, travel is not just about places — it’s about people, stories, shared meals, and spontaneous moments. I believe Couchsurfing is the perfect way to connect with locals, learn from different cultures, and grow as a person.
I’m eager to discover new places, meet inspiring people, and keep learning from every corner of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love pop music — seriously, Shakira is my goddess 💃✨. I'm all about Britney 👑, Kali Uchis 🌸, Lady Gaga 🎤, Ariana 🎶… and so many more!
But hey, I’m like a jukebox 🎵 — I enjoy a bit of everything: rock 🎸, salsa 💃, cumbia 🪗, reggaeton 🔥… even Christmas carols 🎄 (yup, I vibe with those too!). Music just lights me up 🎧💫.
When it comes to movies 🎬, I’m a huge fan of Anne Hathaway (queen!) 👑🎭. I love horror films 👻, and nostalgic stories that tug at your heartstrings — Little Women is one of my all-time faves 💔📽️.
I don’t read a ton 📚, but when I do, I go with my intuition ✨. Lately, I’ve been into tarot 🔮, In August We Meet by Gabriel García Márquez 📖, and of course, Britney’s memoir 💫📕 — drama, soul, and self-discovery all in one.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once decided — literally the day before — to go to an amazing music festival all by myself 🎶🎉. No planning, just vibes. It turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life — music, freedom, and a whole lot of dancing with strangers who became friends. Sometimes, the best things happen when you just go for it ✨🙌.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to move your hips — hips don’t lie! 💃 I dance salsa, bachata, reggaeton… a little bit of everything, mostly Latin rhythms. Dancing is my way of connecting with people and enjoying life.
I truly believe that if you don’t take risks, you don’t win. I’m on a journey of constant self-discovery, always trying to grow and become a better version of myself.
I’d love to learn from other cultures, explore different perspectives, and step out of my bubble. If you have stories, ideas, or experiences to share, I’m all ears!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook you some tasty Colombian arepas 🫓 or a delicious citrusy salmon 🍋🐟! We can also explore the city together 🏙️, or just chill and chat about anything — from deep existential questions to fun, random topics. I love good conversations, shared moments, and making connections that go beyond the surface ✨🗣️.
