¡Hola! Soy Andrés y te doy la bienvenida a mi rincón en Costa Rica.
Soy una persona sencilla, pero con muchas pasiones: amo cocinar (nunca falta un buen plato para compartir), la fotografía, el teatro, la danza folclórica (¡y puedo enseñarte a bailar!) y las conversaciones que te cambian la perspectiva. Mi lema: toda persona que conozcas tiene algo que enseñarte.

He tenido la fortuna de recibir viajeros de 33 países diferentes, y cada experiencia ha sido única. Si estás explorando Costa Rica, puedo ayudarte a planificar tu viaje con consejos sobre qué lugares visitar y cómo aprovechar al máximo tu tiempo aquí. Además, me encanta preparar platillos típicos de mi país, ¡así que podríamos compartir juntos la esencia costarricense en la mesa!

Actualmente trabajo en el Aeropuerto Internacional Juan Santamaría, así que conozco muy bien la ciudad y puedo ayudarte con recomendaciones de transporte, alojamientos y todo lo que necesites para tu viaje.

En mi casa no hay juicios, solo respeto y muchas ganas de compartir. Formo parte de la comunidad LGBTIQ+, y eso nunca ha sido un impedimento para ser un excelente anfitrión, como lo confirman mis referencias. Me encanta recibir viajeros porque siento que el mundo llega a mi puerta con cada uno de ustedes.

Planes: desde maratones de Netflix o cocinar juntos, hasta explorar la ciudad, salir a probar algo delicioso o tomarnos unas cervezas en un bar local. Estoy abierto a lo que el momento dicte.

Un poco más sobre mí: fui bailarín de folclore, actor de teatro, cantante en un coro LGBTQIA+ y también dirigí un medio de comunicación. He trabajado en diferentes áreas, desde recepcionista bilingüe hasta voluntario en la Cruz Roja. La vida es corta, así que siempre estoy buscando nuevas experiencias, aprendiendo idiomas y con ganas de conocer personas de todos los rincones del mundo.

I’ve had the fortune of hosting travelers from 33 different countries, and each experience has been unique. If you’re exploring Costa Rica, I can help you plan your trip with tips on what to visit and how to make the most of your time here. I also love preparing typical Costa Rican dishes, so we can share a taste of local culture together!

I currently work at Juan Santamaría International Airport, so I know the city well and can assist with transportation, accommodations, and anything else you need for your trip.

In my home, there’s no judgment, just respect and a genuine desire to share. I am part of the LGBTIQ+ community, and that has never prevented me from being a great host, as my references confirm. I love hosting because the world comes to my door with each guest.

Plans: from Netflix marathons or cooking together, to exploring the city, trying delicious food, or grabbing a beer at a local bar. I’m open to whatever the moment brings.

A bit more about me: I was a folkloric dancer, theater actor, singer in an LGBTQIA+ choir, and also ran a media outlet. I’ve worked in many fields, from bilingual receptionist to Red Cross volunteer. Life is short, so I’m always seeking new experiences, learning languages, and meeting people from all over the world.
