Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people from different cultures and exchanging ideas, stories, and perspectives. As someone passionate about sustainability, energy, and international cooperation, I believe real change happens through human connection and empathy. I enjoy traveling not just to see places, but to understand them — their history, their people, their way of life.

I’m also really into languages and music. I speak Spanish, English, French, and I’m learning Portuguese and Italian. I used to play the violin and teach music theory to kids, and I love sharing music and discovering local sounds wherever I go.

On top of that, I enjoy outdoor activities and sports — I love extreme sports, going on hikes, and being in nature. I'm also passionate about history and photography, so I always carry my camera to capture meaningful moments and stories behind the places I visit.

Couchsurfing gives me a chance to meet open-minded people, practice languages, learn new things, and feel at home even when I’m far from home. Whether as a guest or a host, I’m always happy to contribute, help out, cook, share experiences, and build memories together.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵 Music:
My favorite genres are EDM and classical music — a combination that might seem opposite, but both give me energy and inspiration in different ways. I used to play the violin, so I really enjoy orchestral pieces and movie soundtracks, but I also love dancing and feeling the rhythm of electronic beats. Music is part of my daily life, whether I’m studying, relaxing, or exploring a new place.

🎬 Movies:
I’m a big fan of science fiction. I love movies that make you think about the future, space, time, and human nature. One of my all-time favorites is Interstellar — it mixes emotion, science, and imagination in a powerful way. I also enjoy thought-provoking films and documentaries, especially those related to history or society.

📚 Books:
One of my favorite books is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig — I love how it explores regrets, second chances, and the meaning of life. I enjoy novels that make you reflect, as well as historical and philosophical books that help me understand different perspectives.
