Born in Lima, Peru. Raised in Miami, Florida. Living in Gainesville, Florida since 2005. I'm a nurse and I love it. It's awesome to get paid to help people through difficult times. Nursing is definitely half art, half science and that suits me well, I think.

Just finished reading 'Antes que Anochesca,' the autobiography of an anti-Castro poet living in Cuba in the 1960s. Really amazing book. First Spanish book I read in ten years.
