About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live an examined life, full of adventures and different perspectives and people

ABOUT ME

I'm a very adventurous, artistic, funny and fun-loving guy. I love meeting new people, learning about them, their travels and their experiences. I'm a very outgoing and laid back person who knows how to listen and wants to learn about everything and learn from everyone around me. It's always easier for someone else to describe you than it is for you to. I am really looking forward to meeting new people, because that's the most valuable way of getting to know someone.

I've lived in Chicago, San Francisco, Ecuador and Afghanistan.

PHILOSOPHY

Karma (reggae), that's my philosophy, with a little Sun Tsu and Shakespeare. Live and let live (by McCarthy). Love. And never stop seeking new experiences or knowledge. Never settle for contentment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: West Side Story (first movie that made cry), Love Story, Winds of War; Bull Durham. Books: Sydney Sheldon's "Rage of Angels", Omar Bradley's biography, biography of Lee Iococa, "War and Peace." "Men are from Mars, Woman are from Venus." But there are so many books I've read and loved. Music, almost absolutely everything. I love music, and if you're a musician? Come here and jam!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My experience with the US Navy. People I have met along the way. The human spirit. Love.

Teach, Learn, Share

As an adjunct professor, I try to teach common sense, and I share art, especially photography. I never stop learning.
