Hi! We are a couple who loves traveling, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from around the world.

One of us works in the health insurance industry and enjoys reading, traveling, and discovering great food. The other is a geologist currently living in the United States while completing his PhD and has a passion for nature, landscapes, and outdoor adventures.

Together we enjoy exploring cities, visiting local markets, walking in nature, and trying traditional food. We are curious, respectful, and easygoing people who truly enjoy meaningful conversations and cultural exchange.

We also have three children, and two of them are currently homeschooled, so learning from people and cultures around the world is something very special for our family. If you stay with us, we would love if you feel comfortable sharing something about your culture, language, or experiences with them.

We are also open to house exchange, as we believe it can be a wonderful way to experience different places and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We heard about couchsurfing from a friend who was using it, and we thought it would be nice to offer our country place to travelers.

We enjoy meeting travelers and hosts from different backgrounds and creating meaningful connections around the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a beautiful dome located in a safe and residential area near the Chicamocha Canyon in La Mesa de los Santos, a very touristic and scenic area.
The place is designed as a space for disconnection, relaxation, and connection with nature. It is perfect for travelers who enjoy quiet environments, fresh air, and beautiful landscapes.

Because we do not live there full time, guests usually have the place to themselves during their stay.

We enjoy hosting respectful travelers who appreciate nature, peaceful environments, and cultural exchange.

To help us keep the place clean and well maintained, we ask guests to contribute $25 USD at checkout to cover cleaning and maintenance costs (same fee for one person or a couple).

This is not a commercial rental — it simply helps us prepare the space for the next travelers and keep the dome ready for future guests.
