About Me
Hi there! I'm Drew (Andreu)
I was born in Guatemala and I moved on to Spain when i was 3. Now I live in Sant Cugat del Vallés a village so near to Barcelona in Catalonia.
I consider my self as a friendly, funny and responsible person and I have my rarities that's makes me how I Am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travel and shearing new experiences. Europe it's amazing and I'm glad to be in.
I think this is a nice way to meet new people, to travel or being a good host hahaha. I'don't mind to do my best to have a good time as a guest or a host.
Interests
I would like to learn a lot of things that other cultures in Europe do.
As a guest:
New ways to cook (it can be as a host to), new places to visit, new experiences and responsibilities like how to maintain a farm or how to be part of a hostel stuff.
As a host:
I want to show the amazing Barcelona that it's for me the best city in Spain.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all types of music. In my iPod you can see Indian or Arabian music, Greek music, Flamenco, Copla, House, Commercial music, Chinese music... really I like all types of music.
My favourite movies are fantasy adventure or historical movies. Romantic movies are a little bit boring and horror movies are the good way to past only Halloween day.
If a book can teach me something it's a good book for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I was in Czech Republic for a month and it was a great experience. A couple of friends and I were working in a farm and it was incredible. We learn a lot about how to maintain a farm and Czech's typical culture.
I was host for a French guy that was studying Occitan. Catalan and Occitan are like brother languages.
The better experience was with the Scandinavian people, 2 Swedish and one Danish. The routine in the north doesn't have a lot of particularities and probably it's similar than the English routine. His culture it's nothing to stop me impressed, but they have the most wonderful language I ever heard. I showed them Barcelona like a different way people is used to visit, because Barcelona it's more than Gaudi and the beach.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love all the different languages in Europe and I would like to learn them all, but it's impossible.
Spanish and Catalan are my native language and my English it's not bad. I started to learn Greek 2 years ago by my own, but it's really hard and I'm really bad so I want to surround myself with Greek and Greek's culture to make it more exciting and easy.
Now I want to start with French and maybe sweedish because with Catalan and Spanish it's probably going to be easy.
I can help people with their Spanish (or Catalan hahaha) because are my native language. People can help me to improve my English and to start with French or Greek.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My culture it's so peculiar and It's not the typical Spanish culture. Spain it's an amazing country with a mix of different cultures. The Celtics were in the north, the Arabian were in the south, we have 4 official languages but a lot of dialects. We have a different traditional food in each region, our feasts, our music...
Actually all people have to learn a lot about Spain and I WANT to learn a lot about other cultures. Also it's good for people that are learning Spanish or Catalan that a native can help him/her with the conversation and to improve the language.
I want to help people that needs it with his projects or his work. I did it last year helping a couple with a farm and with tasks like gardening, painting and taking care of the animals.
